Rezon (JP:レゾン) is a horizontal scrolling shoot em' up released by Allumer in the year 1991. Similar to other horizontal shooters of that era, it is what one could call an "R-Type clone", with similar mechanics to the Force Pods/Bits, intricate stage layouts and grotesque enemy designs.
In 2023 it was released as part of Hamster's Arcade Archives series, making it the first time the game received a home release.

Weapons

Arms
These are 2 option items attached to the top and bottom of the SR-91 when the player first picks up a weapon item. They can aim in multiple angles which is controlled by moving horizontally, deal contact damage and block most enemy projectiles. Holding the A button makes them freeze in their current position, shown by the orb attached to each Arm as it stops rotating while this is happening.
