Biggest skills for this game is knowing when to use your reflect force (available every ~5 seconds) and bombs. Bomb sense was the only thing that slowed down my personal low execution 1cc. Bombs also refresh your shield time immediately.

If playing 2 players, be very careful using Stuck's bomb, it can pull enemies into the other player who is NOT invul during the activation.

There are two primary ways to play this game, Low Rank glitch or normal.

If you want to go the low rank glitch route, you play the game on player 2 solo, do not kill anything, and die IMMEDIATELY after the invul flash at the start. By doing this, the game never advances in rank and you will have the slowest bullet patterns and lowest HP enemies/bosses. It may or may not decrease bullet density too, but killing stuff faster due to lower HP also helps with crowd control.

If you do not want to abuse this glitch, simply play on the player 1 side like normal. From an empirical study, bomb count increases rank when bombs are picked up (the prime example being when someone used a save state of a stage 5 boss with 2 lives and 7 bombs, fighting the golden bird to be very difficult to kill and damage.)

It seems rank affects the boss when they load in, as I did a state with near full resources and after dumping bombs, the golden bird seemed significantly easier to kill after intentionally dumping bombs. So if going for non-score runs, dumping bombs on stage 5 or even before can be desirable.

Below is purely opinion about the characters from someo0ne with low execution and prefers memo/speed killing.

Stuck is probably the easiest to play because his non-machinegun hits out DPS Ruby in situations where he can hit with both of them on big targets, his stage order is great in a lot of people's opinions, the bomb explodes into a secondary explosion that can hit extra enemies, he causes minor slow down and he is still very fast.

Ruby is the second easiest because her point blank is always stable and her speed can get her anywhere she needs to be, also allowing her to command her reflect force better by scooping up more stuff with quick thinking. She causes virtually no slow down during anything she does and a lot of people fear stage 3 lava submarine though.

Isha has some strong point blank game if you can get something to eat the missiles the moment they come out, decent stage order in many's opinions, her slower speed can be a bit rough, but her real ability is slowing down time with game slow down due to all the crap she puts on the screen. When using her I advise to never let go of the fire button because the change in timing with the slowdown ending could be fatal.

Someone else write about the 4th guy, he is pathetic in every way and I only used him because I had to in a blind race
