Redneg All Stars (レッドネグオールスターズ　スイングバイエディション) is a remake of Redneg All Stars from 2019. While it retains most aspects from the previous version, there are some several changes that make this game act different from it`s OG 2019 freeware version.

== Gameplay Overview ==
Just like the original RNAS, the player faces against a boss, and attacking it will generate gems that fill up the magic gauge. When magic circle is full it will add a magic stock. Magic can be used either for auto-shield or for bombing.

Depending on what distance the player attacks a boss, the value of the gems will variate.

== Control types ==
* Consumer:
Has 4 buttons. To move slowly, the player has to hold down the Slow button

* Arcade
Has 3 buttons. To move slowly, the player has to hold down the Shot button.

== Rank ==
Rank is what alters the aggresiveness of a boss` pattern. It mostly increases from collected gems, and it`s rank increase speed depends on the size of collected gems. It decreases when using auto-shield or when dying.

== Scoring ==
The mayor score provider is the rate. Rate basically alters how much score value gems and star items will award. The rate count is also multiplied, and it`s multiplier is mostly attached to rank.

== Difficulty modes ==
Each mode has it`s own rank start

*Easy: Starts at rank 1
*Normal: Starts at rank 50
*Hard: Starts at rank 100
*Very Hard: Starts at rank 150
*Ultimate: Always capped at rank 255 and never decreases.

== Courses ==
The game features 3 courses, along with an optional speedrun mode. Any boss from a specific course can be chosen.

*Boss Rush: A course where the player faces against the characters of the Redneg franchise.
*Another Dreamers: A special course that features guest from Sotonohito`s other works. At the start of the course, Hajime will drop a magic item to the player.
*Endless: A mode where random bosses appear and the player attempts to survive the longest. It`s possible to get 999,999,999,990+pts (aka a Counterstop).

== True Last Boss / TLB ==
In order to trigger Redneg (the TLB in Boss rush), the player must increase rank 50 times. If gadgets are unlocked, the player can check if the "Hidden boss OK" star shines upon increasing rank 50 times.

If TLB is reached at rank 200 or even higher, it will use it`s bomber-proof shield on phase 1.

In Ultimate difficulty, since rank is always locked at lvl.225, the game assumes that rank was already increased 50 times, so the TLB access is already granted in that difficulty.

== Trivia ==
*Despite Kikuzuki and Melona appearing in this game, they do not feature their TLB forms.
